Modern, rock-tinged more than traditional, though parts like the banjo rolls (which are truly stunning), fiddle runs, and classic 2-beat boom-chick drums, can be used in most any country setting.
Recorded using specialized MIDI controllers from guitar synths, to the Zeta Violin system, to MIDI kits. In the original SMF files, which are included in this download, the Fiddle and Pedal Steel parts have been recorded and are presented on multiple MIDI channels.
SMF Type 1 file format works with all DAWs that can load/import .MIDs. This collection is now also available in native Yamaha Motif Pattern format, meaning that you can load files and start working in seconds. Patterns default to an appropriate Voice - which can be changed at will of course - and will automatically loop correctly. In much the same way as do Motif's internal arpeggios (some of which were licensed by Yamaha from Twiddly.Bits libraries), these 'human played' parts will transform your ability to create authentic sounding compositions directly on the Motif. Parts in this collection can even be turned into user arpeggios if you want!
