Some of the coolest features in the Motif and the MO series are the guitar arpeggios that let you ‘play' guitar Voices in true authentic guitar-like style.
Several of these arpeggios were actually created by Keyfax NewMedia and this library is a custom collection of guitar strumming arpeggios featuring 50 of our finest guitar parts.
A 'Motif' arpeggio is a living, breathing thing. You have complete control over tempo, the voicing (what notes or chords it plays), and the sound. Armed with 50 custom guitar strumming arpeggios you will be able to create a whole range of material from live backings, to song-inspiring hooks, to ante-upping parts in your existing recordings. “Wow! Who did you get to play on that track?” “Ah, yes, me actually…!”
The strumming styles focus mainly on rock; or at least on parts that you would commonly associate with rock. There are also several Latin, funk, and jazz-influenced arpeggios.
Keenly priced and completely easy to use (load the file and the new User Arps will simply remain in memory until or unless you actively replace them), Rock Solid Strums is an essential purchase for anyone with a remote interest in creating genuine guitar parts* on their Motif or MO. Originally created for the Motif ES, this library has now been converted into native arpeggio format for Motif XS and XF as well as MO 6/7/8 and MOXF.
The download .zip file includes folders for every single compatible Motif and MO series instrument as well as a PDF manual complete with tips of using and applying arpeggios.
Standard / Complex Voicing
Most of Rock Solid Strums are based on a single chord type that means you can play any chord – in real time – and the arpeggio will follow your exact voicing. However 12 are harmonically ‘complex' (featuring chord changes) and are specifically created for ‘one-finger' triggering, so preserving the inherent harmonic movement in the file; starting at whatever pitch (key) you play. These arpeggios will be particularly helpful for those with limited knowledge of keyboard chords.
