Sonic Disorder is part of the unique ‘Instant Score’ sound and loop library from SoundWaves, which is run by the revered sound designer Arne Schulze.

Rather than offer static sounds that you have to ‘play,’ Instant Score libraries have already been brought to life as multi-textured loops and performances. Within each library every voice or loop works perfectly with its neighbors, enabling you to mix and match textures and tone colors, drones, loops, and beats so you can play or record an ‘instant score.’

Sonic Disorder offers 16 voices of heavily processed drum loops, with some more basic ones thrown in. You get the basic tempo of 120, but half-time and double-time of each of them. These are perfect for action, trailers, or anything needing big distorted percussion.

All loops are sample accurate in sync at 120 BPM, but by using the controllers “Assign 1” (Course Tuning) and “Assign 2” (Fine Tuning), tempo variations work surprisingly well due to the character and nature of these “Out Of This World Percussion” loops.

Loading the samples:

This library is sized to fit into the XF’s standard 128MB of sample memory. The library can also be saved onto a Flashboard if you have one installed.

Demos: Demo 1 is a short piece of music created in real time using the first Voice in this collection. This Voice features all of the library's loops on individual keys. Demo 2 is another short piece of music recorded in real time using just of the individual Voices. On these Voices, loops and sounds can be pitched and 'played.'
